Paul Lange has spent more than 35 years running and fixing businesses. He started in hospitality, on the floor, where the feedback is immediate and there's nowhere to hide a bad decision. The finance came later, and it came second.

Out of that work came Total QX™, a framework built through the 1990s inside the businesses he was turning around rather than in a workshop, and later Manolutions, the firm he founded and still runs. It does business optimisation and leadership counsel. It does not do coaching.

He's the author of four books. Three of them form The Leadership OS Trilogy, about running something, and this is the third. The fourth sits outside it and isn't about running a business at all.
The order is the point, and it's the whole of his method. He isn't a commentator who read the case studies. He's carried the risk personally, in his own companies, with his own money, through the parts that don't make it into a case study, which is why he can tell what a decision actually costs the person who has to make it.
